L'Association Française pour l’Étude de l’âge du Fer (AFEAF) a pour mission de promouvoir en France et en Europe, la recherche sur la Protohistoire.

L'AFEAF organise un colloque annuel, en France ou en Europe, sur une thématique différente chaque année propre aux sociétés des âges du fer, qui donne lieu à des actes, dans la collection « AFEAF » depuis 2017.

L'AFEAF organise chaque année une journée d’actualité, généralement à Paris en janvier/février, qui donne lieu à l’édition d’un bulletin annuel.

The mission of the French Association for the Study of the Iron Age (AFEAF) is to promote research on Protohistory in France and in Europe.
