Support the library. Présentation du projet
People give in many ways to build the wonderful community at the library. Many volunteers donate valuable time by running a great variety of programs. Staff and board members steer the library through sometimes smooth - and sometimes choppy! - waters. These efforts make up for a library that is a vibrant and vital institution in the lives of many.
2020 will be another exciting year of new projects. The library would like to buy more materials for teachers of children. We also need financial support to run a continuing Speaker Series bringing intellectual stimulation to the members of the library. These are just two projects amongst many that make the library "the place to be".
You may not be aware of the fact that the library is a not-for-profit institution and receives generous funding from the Conseil Départemental de Maine-et-Loire, the Ville d'Angers, l'Université d'Angers, the Université Catholique de l'Ouest and the Florence Gould Foundation. We would like to thank these funding partners for their ongoing support. Funding is one source of income but does not cover all of the needs of the library. This is where you can play a role.
Please consider making a donation. Any amount helps a great deal. Your donation will empower the library and will enable it to continue its fine work.
Library Director, Phoebe Marshall-Raimbeau, and Chairwoman, Anne Lebeugle, would like to thank you for considering donating to the library. For all information about the team and contact details please go to http://ellia.org/board-member-library-staff/
