BIO

Etay Axelroad est chorégraphe, danseur, “explorateur de mouvement”, metteur en scène et professeur de gaga (depuis 2015). Il est né en Roumanie en 1995. Il obtient un premier diplôme en danse au lycée Blich et la bourse de la Fondation culturelle Amérique-Israël en 2013. Il a travaillé comme danseur professionnel au sein de la Batsheva Dance Company & Ensemble,GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, KOR’SIA et L-E-V (Sharon Eyal & Gai Bechar). Depuis 2016, il crée des pièces de courte et moyenne durée comme LED - 2023, CASUS - 2021, AZIZTARIN - 2020, Bias - 2019, A_MeN - 2018, C.2 - 2017, C.1 - 2017, Meshulash -2016. Ses œuvres ont été présentées dans divers endroits du monde ; Israël, Autriche, Hongrie, Suède, Japon, États-Unis, Espagne, etc.

WORKSHOP DIP

La masterclass DIP est basée sur différents langages de mouvement, méthodes et expériences que j'ai appris et pratiqué au fil des années et qui me guident vers de nouvelles découvertes en cours.

Nous nous concentrons sur la recherche en expérimentant différents éléments de danse et de mouvement avec une forte connexion à notre corps.

Nous utiliserons des méthodes et des langages issus du ballet, du gaga et du contemporain ainsi que du popping et le krump. Une de mes inspirations vient également de la philosophie et de la pratique du Feldenkrais et de la méditation.

En les combinant, je présenterai également de nouvelles idées, orientations et découvertes issues de mes recherches.

Dans l'atelier, nous n'utilisons pas de miroirs. Nous travaillerons sur notre conscience du corps, de sa forme et de la manière dont nous l'utilisons, en relation avec la gravité ainsi que les relations entre nos différentes parties du corps, entre elles et avec l'espace.

Nous utiliserons les outils et la recherche abordée dans le répertoire chorégraphique de mes pièces.

BIO

Noga Harmelin a grandi à Haïfa et a commencé à danser dans le studio de Kaj Lotman avec sa mère Dvorah Harmelin, première professeure de ballet. et l'école des arts « Reut » dirigée par Michal Hasson. En 1998, elle commence à danser à la Bat Dor Dance Company. Directrice artistique : Madame Jeanette Ordman, elle travaille avec des chorégraphes tels que Luciano Cannito, Ido Tadmor, Igal Per, Phillipe Trehet, Ed Wubbe et Nils. Christie.

En 2002, elle rejoint la compagnie de Mme Inbal Pinto et Mme Avshalom Pollack, elle interprète plusieurs de leurs pièces comme « Oyster », « Wrapped », « What good could the moon be », « Rushes » et bien d'autres. En 2019, elle interprète « Antu », une pièce créée pour la compagnie par Andrea Costanso Martini. Elle a travaillé en freelance pour le chorégraphe Amit Yardeni en tant qu'interprète de la pièce « Obnob » pour le Haramat Masach Festival 2017, ainsi que la pièce « 35Hz » en mai 2024. En 2022-2023, elle a été membre du groupe indépendant « Movement Project » dirigé par Mme Erica Rintovitch. Elle interprète des pièces d'Eldad Ben Sasson et Kenana Dinkelman. Entre 2020-2024 elle rejoint le groupe « Clown X » de cirque et de théâtre alternatif en tant que chorégraphe et interprète. En 2018, elle reçoit un diplôme de professeur de yoga d'Anat Zahor « Dharma Yoga ». Elle enseigne le yoga et la danse aux étudiants et aux danseurs professionnels, elle donne également des cours à des compagnies du monde entier.

WORKSHOP

Chaque séance commencera par un échauffement : un travail d'improvisation, de contact ou de floorwork. Le corps sera ainsi prêt à recevoir de nouvelles informations.

Je vous transmettrai ensuite des segments de pièces d’Inbal Pinto comme "Space Invaders" "'What good would the moon be" ''Wrapped'' ''Oyster" et également "Antu" d’Andrea Constanzo Martini.

Le sujet et l'approche pourront varier d'un jour à l'autre : nous utiliserons la physicalité pour définir un personnage ou encore des motifs psychologiques théâtraux. Nous poserons des contraintes afin d'établir un nouvel ensemble de règles pour créer l'univers que nous souhaitons décrire.

Nous traversons différentes dynamiques dans la semaine, en passant d’une séance physique intense suivie d’une séance plus introvertie. Une partie du répertoire comprendra également de l’improvisation. Certaines séances comprendront essentiellement de l'improvisation ou des matériaux de construction, afin de vous transmettre également le processus de travail auquel je suis habitué.

Etay Axelroad is a choreographer, dancer, “movement explorer”, director and gaga teacher (since 2015). He was born in Romania in 1995. He graduated in dance from Blich High School and received the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship in 2013. He worked as a professional dancer with Batsheva Dance Company & Ensemble, GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, KOR 'SIA and L-E-V (Sharon Eyal & Gai Bechar). Since 2016, he has created various short to medium-length works; LED (2023), CASUS (2021), AZIZTARIN (2020), Bias (2019), A_MeN (2018), C.2 (2017), C.1 (2017), Meshulash (2016). His works have been presented in various places around the world; Israel, Austria, Hungary, Sweden, Japan, United States, Spain, etc.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION DIP

DIP masterclass is a growing movement class based on different movement languages, methods and experiences I have been learning and practicing through the years that lead me into new ongoing discoveries.
In Dip we focus on research experimenting with the different elements of dance and movement with a mindful and healthy connection to our body.
We will be using methods and languages coming from the ballet, gaga and contemporary worlds as well as from street styles of urban culture such as popping and krump. A big inspiration and general approach of mine comes from the philosophy and practice of Feldenkrais and meditation.
Combining those, I will also introduce new ideas, directions and physical findings from my past and present research.
In the workshop we will not be using mirrors. We will practice working on our awareness of the body, its form and how we use it in relation to gravity, our different body parts, each other and space.
Sometimes the workshop includes application of ideas from my language through the choreographic repertoire of my pieces

BIO

In 2022-2023 She was a member of the independent group “Movement Project” led by Mrs Erica Rintovich. As a creative dancer performing pieces by Eldad Ben Sasson and Kenana dinkelman. Between 2020-2024 also a member of the “Clown X” group for circus and alternative theater as a choreographer and performer. In 2018 she recieved a Yoga Teacher Diploma from Anat Zahor “Dharma Yoga”. She Teaches Yoga and dance to students and dancers and gives company classes to companies around the world.

WORKSHOP

Every session will start with warm-up whether by Impro, Contact or some floor work that corresponds with the rep I will teach later. So the body will be ready to receive new information.

The rep will include segments from pieces like "Space Invaders" "'What good would the moon be" ''Wrapped'' ''Oyster" and like I suggest also "Antu" by Andrea.

The topic and the approach may vary from one day to another. whether we use the physicality to define a character or the theatrical psychological motifs to search for a new physicality. usually driven by limits and restrictions in order to set a new set of rules of the universe we aim to describe.

It might be an intense physical session followed by a more relaxed introverted one. Some of the repertoire will include Impro as well. And some of the sessions might be just impro or building materials as a glimpse to the work I am used to.
