Lite pou Demen Nou (LIDE-N), membre du Collectif Haïti de France (CHF), intervient à Jean Rabel, Nord-Ouest d’Haïti. Les dons, collectés par le CHF, sont transférés mensuellement à LIDE-N.

Fondée en juin 2016, l’association répond à la dégradation de l’environnement physique et social d’Haïti. Dynamique et engagée, elle agit à travers quatre axes : Renforcement organisationnel et institutionnel ; Agriculture, Environnement et santé ; Équité de genre ; Promotion et production artistique.

Creation of the Cultural and Educational Center in Jean Rabel, Haiti

The Claire Heureuse Cultural Center of Jean Rabel aims to provide a space dedicated to education, economic empowerment and culture.

Faced with growing poverty in Haiti, the association Lite pou Demen Nou (LIDE-N), a member of the Collectif Haïti de France, is working to find sustainable solutions. In Jean Rabel, where access to education, culture and leisure is limited, LIDE-N has created the Claire Heureuse Community Center to offer young people a space for learning, creativity and civic commitment.

At the same time, the association supports women through a solidarity-based micro-credit program, promoting their economic autonomy and improving their families’ living conditions.

Your contribution will enable: 

• The creation of a mini library, a multimedia space connected to the Internet and a place dedicated to the arts, while providing essential educational resources (books, computers, artistic and audiovisual material). 
• The organization of reading, music, theater and digital training workshops aimed at enriching young people’s knowledge, skills and self-fulfillment.
• Strengthening a micro-credit program to support women’s entrepreneurship.
• Strengthening the LIDE-N Guest House to ensure the sustainability of the center’s socio-cultural activities.

Project owners

Lite pou Demen Nou (LIDE-N), a member of Collectif Haïti de France (CHF), works in Jean Rabel, northwest Haiti. Donations collected by CHF are transferred monthly to LIDE-N.

Founded in June 2016, the association responds to Haiti’s deteriorating physical and social environment. Dynamic and committed, it acts through four lines of intervention: Organizational and institutional strengthening; Agriculture, Environnement and Health; Gender equity; Artistic promotion and production.
