Week-end Foljuif

Ecocampus organise cette année en amont du Festival des Ecocampusiennes un week-end d'activités sur le Campus ENS Foljuif ! 

• Ou ça ?

Si si, c'est l'endroit séduisant et inaccessible où vont se retrouver les Bios chaque année... Nous nous rendrons bel et bien au CEREEP Ecotron Ile-de-France, créé en 2008 par l'ENS et le CNRS du côté de la forêt de Fontainebleau. C'est un site dédié à la recherche en écologie expérimentale, à l'enseignement, la formation et l'accueil des étudiant.es. Y sont simulé notamment la variation de conditions environnementales dans des écosystèmes réduits et controlés. Le fonctionnement des écosystèmes naturels y est finement étudié ainsi que les effets du changement climatique dans les milieux terrestres comme lacustres. C'est un haut lieu de la recherche en écologie !

• On y va pour faire quoi?

Nous aurons la chance de passer le week-end dans un espace de 78ha "au vert" pour partager des repas (cuisinés et partagés entre nous) dans un cadre reposant et convivial, des ateliers-conférences autour de l'écologie, des visites du site et de ses travaux avec des chercheur.euse.s, des séances ciné, des balades en forêt… Que des belles choses !

• Je peux venir?

Tu as envie de sortir un peu de Paris et de t'immerger pour discuter d'écologie (et autre !) dans un cadre sympa ? RDV les 6-8 octobre prochains !

Départ le vendredi 6 de Gare de Lyon en fin de journée par la Ligne R (Comptez 10 euros aller-retour) pour un retour dimanche en fin de journée.

Il y a en tout 25 places en compagnie de votre cher bureau Ecocampus :)

Tarif unique : 12 Euros par participant.e.s + une participation volontaire à la nourriture des repas communs. Logements sur site inclus !

This year, in the run-up to the Ecocampus Festival, Ecocampus is organising a weekend residency on the ENS Foljuif campus! Yes, it's the seductive and inaccessible place where the Bios meet up every year... We'll be heading to the CEREEP Ecotron Ile-de-France, set up in 2008 by the ENS and the CNRS in the Fontainebleau forest. It's a site dedicated to experimental ecology research, teaching, training and welcoming students.

• What do they do at CEREEP?

At CEREEP, researchers simulate variations in environmental conditions in small, controlled ecosystems. The functioning of natural ecosystems is studied in detail, as are the effects of climate change in both terrestrial and lacustrine environments. It's a mecca for ecology research!

• What will we be doing?

We'll be talking about the role of scientists as counter-power and whistle-blowers, as well as our ecosystems and their protection. We'll have the chance to spend the weekend in a 78-hectare 'green' area, where we'll be sharing a relaxing and convivial setting, with meals cooked and eaten together, conference workshops and visits with the site's researchers, film screenings and walks in the forest. 

• Can i come? 

Fancy getting out of Paris for a while and immersing yourself in discussions on ecology (and other subjects!) in a friendly setting? See you on 7-8 October!

Departure on Friday 6 from Gare de Lyon at the end of the day on the Ligne R (€10 go and return), and heading back on sunday evening.

On-site accommodation is included ! There are only 25 places with your dear Ecocampus office :)

Price : 12 Euros per participant + a contribution to the food for the communal meals !
