Présentation et origine du projet

L’association Écovillage Roumanie est une jeune association à caractère écologique, social et humanitaire souhaitant rassembler des personnes désireuses de s’affranchir du paradigme économique actuel et à promouvoir l'agro-écologie. Concrètement, le projet vise à créer un écovillage en Roumanie adossé à une ferme…

Voilà comment avait commencé notre périple. Sur les trois familles au départ, deux se sont malheureusement désistées (du fait des aléas de la vie). Malgré cela, nous (la dernière famille restante) avons réussi à nous expatrier en Roumanie, même en l'absence des fonds nécessaires.  Le déménagement a été, de ce fait, particulièrement difficile. 

Depuis notre arrivée, nous avons continué à affiner notre projet, à prospecter, afin de le concrétiser. Nous avons la confirmation que la Roumanie est un choix judicieux pour une telle entreprise. Le pays est fort d'une riche biodiversité et une place importante est faite à l'agriculture. Cependant, l'agriculture bio y est encore peu développée, c'est pourquoi la dimension pédagogique visant à aider au développement de cette agriculture alternative y est particulièrement pertinente. De plus, nous nous sommes rendus compte de l'immense misère animale qui règne ici. Après avoir recueilli plusieurs animaux, et nourris de nombreux chiens et chats errants, nous avons décidé de faire de notre projet un sanctuaire pour animaux errants et abandonnés ici (sachant que nous avons été famille d'accueil pour animaux pour une association française pendant des années et en avons accueilli de toutes sortes hors association).
 

 Aujourd'hui, nous avons développé un réseau de relations important dans le pays, centralisé le projet autour d'une ferme en écoculture financée par du consulting en agronomie (le but étant également de promouvoir l'agriculture biologique en Roumanie), et commencé nos recherches d'un terrain où nous installer. Le projet intégral peut être trouvé ici. Mais nous nous heurtons toujours au même problème : l'aspect financier. Une demande de subventions européennes est également envisagée, mais cela prendra beaucoup de temps et nous n'avons aucune garantie que l'issue en sera positive.

C'est pourquoi nous nous tournons de nouveau vers le crowdfunding pour établir les bases de notre projet.

Presentation and origin of the project

The Écovillage Roumanie association is a young ecological, social and humanitarian association wishing to gather people wanting to get away from the current economical paradigm, and to promote ecological agriculture. Concretely, the project aims to create an ecovillage in Romania, paired with a farm…

Here's how our journey had started. On the three families from the beginning, two of them sadly had to retract from the project (due to personal live events). Despite this, we (the remaining family) have managed to move to Romania, despite the absence of sufficient funding. The move has been, because of this, especially difficult.

Ever since our arrival here, we kept refine our project, prospect, in order to finally bring it to life. We are now certain that Romania is a judicious choice for such a venture. The country displays a rich biodiversity and a lot of importance is given to agriculture. However, organic agriculture is still underdeveloped here, and that's why the educative dimension of our project aiming to help to this development is especially relevant.  On top of that, we realized how huge of a problem animal abuse was here. After having fostered several pets, as well as fed many stray dogs and cats, we have decided to also transform our project into a stray/abandoned pets sanctuary (knowing that we've been a foster family for a french association for years, and have welcomed many in our home even outside of any associative work). 

At the time being, we have developed an important social network in the country, centered the project around an ecoculture farm financed by agronomy consulting (the goal also being to promote organic agriculture in Romania), and started to look for a plot to settle on. The full project can be read here. But we still bump into the same issue : the financial aspect. An European grant request is being considered, but it will take a lot of time, and we have no guarantee that the answer will be a positive one. 

That's why we turn again towards crowdfunding to establish the basis of our project.

Prezentarea și originea proiectului

Asociația Écovillage Roumanie este o asociație tânără cu caracter ecologic, social și umanitar care îşi propune să reunească oameni ce doresc să se elibereze de paradigma economică actuală și să promoveze agroecologia. Concret, proiectul îşi propune să întemeieze un sat ecologic în Romania susţinut de o fermă...

Așa a început călătoria noastră. Dintre cele trei familii angajate inițial, două s-au retras, din păcate (din cauza capriciilor vieții). În ciuda acestui fapt, noi (ultima familie rămasă) am reușit să ne mutăm în România, chiar și în absența fondurilor necesare. Ca urmare, mutarea a fost deosebit de dificilă.

De la sosirea noastră, am continuat să ne perfecționăm proiectul, să prospectăm, pentru a-l transforma în realitate. Avem confirmarea că România este o alegere înțeleaptă pentru o astfel de lucrare. Țara este bogată în biodiversitate și un loc important este acordat agriculturii. Cu toate acestea, agricultura ecologică este încă puţin dezvoltată, motiv pentru care latura educațională menită să ajute la dezvoltarea acestei agriculturi alternative este deosebit de relevantă. În plus, ne-am dat seama de imensa mizerie în privinţa tratării animalelor. După ce am adunat mai multe animale și am hrănit mai mulți câini și pisici fără stăpân, am decis să includem în proiectul nostru şi un sanctuar pentru animalele fără stăpân și abandonate aici (știind că în Franţa am fost ani de zile gazde pentru animale, în susţinerea unei asociații franceze, dar am mai primit animale şi din afara asociației).

Astăzi, am dezvoltat o rețea de relații în țară, am centralizat proiectul în jurul unei ferme de ecocultură finanțată prin consultanță în agronomie (scopul este de altfel și promovarea agriculturii ecologice în România) și am început căutarea unui teren unde să ne putem așeza. Proiectul complet poate fi consultat aici (ENG). Dar ne confruntăm în continuare cu aceeași problemă: aspectul financiar. Se ia în considerare și o cerere de subvenții europene, dar va dura mult timp și nu avem nicio garanție că rezultatul va fi pozitiv.

De aceea, apelăm din nou la crowdfunding pentru a pune bazele proiectului nostru.

Les fonds collectés serviront à financer :

• Construction de plusieurs habitations et bâtiments (environ 50 000€)
• le coût d'installation des locaux (environ 20 000€)
• l'achat de matériel: outillage, serre, plants… (environ 20 000€)
• l’achat d’un véhicule utilitaire (environ 10 000€)

The collected funds will serve to cover:

• building of houses and buildings (estimated 50 000€)
• the installation/renovation fees for the building (estimated 20 000€)
• needed supplies: tools, glasshouse, plants… (estimated 20 000€)
• a commercial vehicle (estimated 10 000€)

Fondurile colectate vor fi utilizate pentru :

• Construcția de case și alte clădiri (aproximativ de 50 000€)
• costul instalării în spatiile respective (aproximativ 20 000€)
• achiziționarea de echipamente: unelte, sere, plante ... (aproximativ 20 000€)
• achiziționarea unui vehicul utilitar (aproximativ 10 000€)
