Qui sommes-nous ?

ESBS Alumni Association (AAE)

The AAE was founded in 1990 with the goal of tightly link the ESBS (Ecole Supérieure de Biotechnologie de Strasbourg) and its students to the industrial world. Furthermore it was intended to develop a strong network between the alumni themselves and also with the current students.

The association is legally recognized and registered under the name “Association des Anciens Elèves de l’Ecole Supérieure de Biotechnologie de Strasbourg – ESBS Alumni Association” at the local court of Illkirch, France. The office is located in the buildings of the ESBS at the Pôle Api in Illkirch, a suburb of Strasbourg, France.

AAE vision and missions

The AAE vision is to create together a lifelong and worldwide community of ESBS alumni through increased opportunities and experiences sharing.

Therefore, one focus of the AAE is to organize events, which bring all members of the ESBS family together. The highlight in these efforts are the Alumni Days which took place every 2 years since 2005. Not only did these events offer a huge variety of career-related information, presented in numerous talks and workshops, they also provide room to exchange ideas, opinions and knowledge as well as to refresh old friendships – and make new ones.

The ESBS Alumni Association also considers it very important to use its resources for the good of the current students. This is why we are constantly encouraging all the alumni to offer their knowledge to the current students by giving seminars, offering company visits and welcoming students for internships.

ESBS Alumni network

Today, the ESBS Alumni network comprises over 1000 members all around the world. Our members:
