About us

French Refugee Council (FRC) is an independent humanitarian and non-governmental organization, founded in 2013, by volunteers, in response to the refugee crisis in Europe. FRC works within the framework of the United Nations Refugee Convention, with the aim of ensuring the safety and protection of refugees. Since its creation, FRC has acted to support asylum seekers and refugees, in the reconstruction of their lives and their integration pathways, to make them full citizens.

Empowerment of Refugees

FRC is working on creating a platform for refugees to share their experiences. French Refugee Council works for their integration at national and European level. With its vast network of 480 volunteers, across France FRC works directly with asylum seekers and refugees to ensure their voices are heard. Volunteers bring all their expertise and help integrate newcomers into their host societies and extend a helping hand to rebuild their lives.

At the French Refugee Council, we are fighting for collective action so that asylum seekers and refugees are protected and adopted by host communities. Our aim is to remove any possible obstacles to their integration and to reassure host companies by presenting action plans and examples of successful integration pathways.

At the French Refugee Council, we work to support asylum seekers and refugees to build happy and dignified lives, free from persecution. We help them to be useful to their host communities to be full citizens.
