In 2024, Help Kampuchea launched a new project in Mondulkiri, a province in northeast Cambodia, in partnership with the NGO Kumnit Kumar Organization. This province is home to the Bunong, one of Cambodia's indigenous peoples.
The project consisted of offering free general medical consultations and care in the heart of Bunong villages, in conjunction with Cambodian health professionals. Our mission also provided an opportunity to offer first-aid training to village health workers and emergency updates to local health professionals.

In 2025, Help Kampuchea wants to go further.
We plan to organize our mission into four areas:
- general health, offering general medical consultations, nursing care and physiotherapy in the villages, but also home visits for less mobile people. These consultations will concern all village residents: babies, children, adults and the elderly.
- women's health, with gynecological consultations, contraception, pregnancy monitoring, screening for sexually transmitted infections, etc. The project also aims to develop collective sexual and reproductive health prevention workshops and washable sanitary pad making workshops to combat menstrual precariousness.
- oral health, by providing dental care and running preventive workshops with the distribution of toothpaste and toothbrushes.
- visual health, by screening for visual problems and providing second-hand corrective eyewear.
All our consultations and treatments will be free of charge and will be carried out in conjunction with local health professionals, to enable follow-up afterwards.
We will continue to offer first-aid training to village health workers, as well as exchanges on best practices to health professionals in local dispensaries.
Our team of volunteers will include four doctors, a nurse, two midwives, a dentist, a dental assistant, three physiotherapists, three opticians and five Cambodian translators who are medical students.

Your donations will enable us to finance:
- the pharmacy, to be able to respond effectively to the needs of the population (medicines, antiseptics, bandages, etc.),
- medical, gynecological, dental and vision screening equipment,
- mission organization: transport and accommodation for volunteers, compensation for translators.
