International Symposium "Data and sustainable development"

From 05 to 07 décembre 2022, from 09h to 18hFor the first edition of its annual international symposium, Sorbonne Développement Durable (SDD) in partnership with the Centre d’Economie de la Sorbonne (CES), the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD), and the Labex Dynamite invite you to attend the following three-day conference dedicated to the achievement of SDGs, with a special emphasis on the very rich databases used today by the human, social and legal sciences as well as the biases induced by these quantitative approaches and how to best mitigate them.
This three-day conference is being hosted by the Cité du développement durable at the Jardin d'Agronomie Tropicale in Paris on December 5th and 6th, and by Hopscotch Global PR Group on Dec. 7th. A visit of the Jardin d'Agronomie Tropicale is included and will be organized during the lunch break on the 5th.
Sorbonne Sustainable Development (SDS) intends, through your work and the interactions generated, to lay the foundations of an interdisciplinary knowledge community on the monitoring of sustainable development goals that will be useful to all.

To be granted access to the conference, you have to register for each day separately, specifying if you want to attend the event on site or online. Free lunch and coffee will only be provided to speakers and the organisation committee (10 euros for external participants). A link to the event will be provided at a later stage to participants who select an online attendance.
