The Association
The Let’s Be Family Non-Profit Organisation was created in 2016 by Tianhe Zhang and Silvio Riggio. Its purpose is to inspire teenagers and young adults to be more open to the World by travelling and hosting travellers.
The core values of the association are the respect of Human and Nature, compassion and open-mindedness.
Travel makes us understand that Humankind is our great Family, Earth our common Home.
Our purpose
The Let’s Be Family Project started in October 2016 in France. We went to high-schools to deliver conferences about the important role that the youth plays as the future of a more sustainable society.
The students were invited to speak out on their passions and values as messages we would carry around the World to people their age.
They loved it and were very cooperative and sincere. Through this experience, we want to inspire them to discover new horizons and learn how to live together on a healthy Planet.
We carry now this project along the roads, hoping to meet and inspire more young people. After 1 year of travelling, we've been to 13 countries and 11 schools, from primary level to university, through South America, North America and Asia.
