Depuis sa création début 2010, la Fonderie de caractères Velvetyne reste une organisation indépendante utilisant l'énergie de ses membres comme carburant. Grâce à ce carburant, nous publions régulièrement de nouvelles fontes, nous organisons des ateliers gratuits (en général une fois par an) et nous continuons à mettre à jour notre site web et nos fontes existantes, depuis plus de 10 ans maintenant. Nous ne dépendons d'aucune vente ni d'aucune subvention d'un quelconque organisme public ou privé pour poursuivre nos activités. En tant que tels, nous sommes les seuls maîtres de nos choix.

Si vous aimez nos polices et nos activités, et si vous pensez que ce que nous faisons est important, pensez à faire un don à notre organisation sans but lucratif. Vos dons nous permettront de continuer à distribuer de nouvelles polices de qualité en open-source et d'améliorer notre catalogue existant en améliorant nos anciennes polices, en ajoutant des caractères à leurs jeux de glyphes ou en créant de nouvelles graisses.

Since its creation in early 2010, Velvetyne Type Foundry remains an independent organisation using the energy of its members as a fuel. Thanks to this fuel, we regularly publish new fonts, we organize free workshops (at least once a year) and we keep updating our website and our existing fonts, for 9 years now. We don't rely on any sales nor any subventions from any state or private organization to continue our activities. As such, we are the only masters of our choices.

If you like our fonts and our activities, and if you think that what we do is important, please consider donating to our non-profit organization. Your donations will allow us to continue distributing new quality, open-source fonts and improving our existing catalogue by redrawing our old fonts, adding characters to their glyph sets or creating new weights.Merci !
